is the rest of my money? Nomsa Matjila went to withdraw
R1 000 from a Standard Bank ATM but she says the machine only gave her
R300. But when she called the bank to find out if her claim was successful, she was told they could not refund her. She approached Daily Sun for help. What I did: I spoke to Erik Larsen at Standard Bank's head office. His report said: Unfortunately I can't argue
with the bank's report. Nomsa was advised to take her complaint to the
office of the Banking Ombudsman who will check whether the bank complied
with the law.
